Hot Springs Hosts Veterans

Elks Lodge 380 hosted 18 veterans and 3 staff members from Ft. Root Veterans Rehab Hospital in Little Rock for a hamburger lunch on May 28, 2026.  The traditional boat ride on Lake Hamilton, usually done in conjunction with the lunch, had to be cancelled due to weather issues.  During the lunch, Lodge members performed karaoke music to entertain the veterans

Fayetteville/Springdale Veterans Fishing Derby

The Fayetteville/Springdale Elks Lodge #1987 held their first Veteran Fishing Derby for this year.  Six Veterans and three staff members from the Fayetteville Veterans Home attended.  The weather was good and the Veterans were anxious to fish. With the help of Dee Wellesley, Gary Wellesley, Jerry Toby, Jim Huey, Larry Roy from the Rogers VFW and Justin Kelley, Elk, Judy Harwell, Elk, and Marge Guist, Elk, the Veterans enjoyed a morning of good fishing. Medals were awarded to Larry Ross for the smallest fish caught, Mikel Blocker for the most fish caught, and Leslie Whitmore for the biggest fish caught. .The Elks Lodge gave out treat bags to all the Veterans after the derby.

North Little Rock

The North Little Rock Elks Riders and members brought gifts and served lunch at Fort Roots for their Christmas in July Party

North Little Rock Elks presented baby shower supplies for expectant veteran mothers procured using a Freedom Grant.
